On my last trip to Goodwill, ( o.k. I admit it, I go to Goodwill about 3 times a week. This is how my mind works…I work out at a Pilates Studio then I treat myself to a Goodwill trip, sometimes I choose a vintage shop but right now I am obsessing over Goodwill and the new store right down the road has not even opened yet) anyway as I was saying, I found a few more white pieces to complete my shelves in the Dining Room that you can see here.
I really like the look of the white dishes on the shelving in both my kitchen and dining room. I found this ironstone platter (I really don’t know much about ironstone but I like my platter and I LOVE the Goodwill price.)
If anyone knows anything about ironstone maybe you can send me some information. I just started following the White Ironstone China Association on Facebook hoping to learn a bit more.
I found this little “K” a few weeks ago but it came as a set with the letters “S” and “C” and they wouldn’t sell them separately. So I passed on them. Once I got home, a light bulb went off and I realized I have a “S” and a “C” in the family. ( So girls when you come to visit you get to keep the lovely letters!) Not sure they love Goodwill like I do.
I also found these little white bowls with such lovely details on them.
For 35 cents, I couldn’t pass them up and which is pretty much why I have all of my new white pieces…I just couldn’t pass up the deal. Anyway, I think they complete the look in the dining room
I hope you are able to find some great deals this week too!
