Having everyone home over the summer and traveling a lot has left me with very little time to go Thrift Shopping. (I am getting sooo sad that this summer break is coming to a close.) Since we have been so busy enjoying summer, this week I am posting some older finds and one new to me find. I have been looking through our home searching for my older thrifty finds. It continues to amaze me, as to how many thrift shop finds I have scattered throughout my home and my Island Home. I love the look of mixing old with new.
Alright, enough talk, let’s get Thrift Shop Thursday #16 started!
The first thrifty find I am sharing is this antique gold canister. We have had this for many years and I just recently pulled it out of a closet and shined it up a bit. I guess my gold color fascination continues this week!
I am not even sure what this was used for back in the day. You can’t see in the picture but it is kidney shaped. I thought it was pretty and added it to my gold collection in my office. A girl can never have too much gold!
My next piece is a new one to me this summer. I don’t know why I picked it up other than it reminded me of the other deer I bought at Goodwill which you can see here.
I just like him.
The last find it another GoodWill goodie. I purchase it when I was in my white dish phase. I have shared some pictures of it before in my dining room redo.
I like all things “initial” which I have shared here, here, and here just to mention a few.
Well, that wraps up this week on Thrift Shop Thursday #16. Next week all the boys will be back in school, I know once we get back into the swing of things it’s all good. I just love the lazy no-schedule of summer! I may have to do some thrift shopping to get me over the end of summer blues!
Until Next Time,
