Wow, it feels like I haven’t done one of these in a while.  So here we go, welcome to Thrift Shop Thursday #24. All of my finds today come from Goodwill.  Big surprise there, right?  I could browse Goodwill every single day and see something new each time.  I did stop by one of our local consignment/antique shops a few weeks ago.  This place has so many rooms, steps up and steps down, but I walked away with zip, zilch, nothing.  Talk about disappointment.  That’s the way it usually works…when I think I am going to score big time, I walk away with nothing.  When I just pop in for a quick look around, I walk away with something I love.  That’s what happened with the finds I am sharing today.  I popped into Goodwill after the gym and found these favorites for Thrift Shop Thursday #24.

It’s all about the Goodwill Goods

My first find is the white horse ceramic bookend.  I picked it up for my home office bookcase.

Did I need it? No, but do I like it? Yes! As I have said before, I tend to add and switch thing up on my book-case quite often.  This was such a simple addition to the shelves. There was only one bookend but that’s the thing with Goodwill, you get what you get which make the hunt all the more exciting.

The second find I am sharing is this galvanized bucket I picked up before Christmas.

I think a galvanized bucket can be used for just about anything.  originally, I kept all of my wrapping paper stored in it while I wrapped during the Holiday Season.  Then I had it by our side entrance to the house holding greenery (which has seen better days). I am not sure where it will end up next but here are a few  decorating ideas with galvanized buckets that you can check out here . Love it!

My last find is my favorite! I was back and forth on whether or not to get it.  I really did not need another mug but in the end, I picked it up and I love it!

It is usually the things that I am back and forth on that become my favorite and this is definitely one of those things!  I like the #3 because it represents my 3 boys and for mere pennies, I say yep, it was worth it! Plus, I like the way it looks on my mug rack!
