I have been working on this project for some time now and I am struggling to finish it. I want to install a chandelier outside
right here:

I want it right in the center of this pergola. I can see it in my mind I am just having some trouble finishing it like I am picturing it!
I want it to be solar powered so that is my first issue. I am thinking that I will use the same type of solor powered landscape lighting that I
used for my outdoor solar lamp but I don’t want it to be the bright LED type lamps. So if anyone knows where I can find inexpensive soft
lighting solar lights let me know. I am also thinking the solar powered candles would work well too. I am having trouble finding those as
well.
Anyway, I did find the chandelier that I wanted at a Restore in our area.
It was 30 dollars. I removed the wiring. I will remove the rest of the socket once I decide what type of lighting I will use. I like the solar powered candle idea. I could just attached the candle to the dish after removing the last bit of the lighting sockets. As of right now it is still
hanging in a tree in my side yard but I did spray it white!
We are divided in this household…keep it white or spray it black?

I made a small solar chandelier and painted it nickel to match the nickel solar lights I found. I removed the “candle tubes” from the chandelier. I pulled the spikes off the solar lights and what do you know (!) the solar lights fit over the candle tube holders! I used dollar store lights. My chandelier doesn’t cast much light as it is only a three light fixture. I’m thinking of doing a black one for Halloween!

That’s what I was planning on doing but I might have waited too long to buy the solar lights because I haven’t found them at the dollar store. I would love to see your chandelier! Thanks for checking us out.

I agree….I am really into black chandeliers right now but it would disappear. The white was a great choice, love it!
