The trees are trimmed, the gifts are wrapped, the treats are made and all the Hallmark movies have been watched multiple times. Since I have spent most of my time lounging and watching countdown to Christmas nonstop, I have to do one big home tour this year instead of room by room. Next year my friends, I will be more productive! Until then, let the tour begin.
We also made a video tour which you can check out here.
The Sunroom
Let’s start in the sunroom which is where I have spent the majority of my time this past month. Yes, you guessed it, this is where the movie watching occurs.
A few months ago, I switched out the carpet and the curtains. I like this look so much better than the blue that was in here. It wouldn’t be a lie if I told you I had Christmas in mind when I made the switch.
Look at this vintage light up Santa that my dear friend sent me this year. I am obsessed with him. I finished off this look with a mini flocked tree and a tea light candle in a decorative jar. This is my favorite vignette this year.
Moving on to the Family Room
Most of my decor remains the same from year to year. The only new addition is the tree skirt that I got on sale after Christmas last year from Magnolia Market.
Oops, I forgot…the skates are new to me this year as well.
Next we will head into the dining room.
I kept this room pretty much the same as last year. I did add the basket with greenery and red berries. I love my stamped spoons with the 12 Days of Christmas.
Next, we will head upstairs.
This is the sitting room off of our Master Bedroom. I love this little space. Notice the vintage stockings on the ladder. I picked these up on ETSY last year. They remind me off the ones my siblings and parents had when we were growing up.
When my son moved out, I redecorated his room. We added this vintage mantle that used to be at our island home. It’s not quite finished but I love it.
Here’s a quick peek into my youngest son’s room. It is so cute and festive.
I hope you enjoyed this quick tour into our home. Merry Christmas enjoy the Holiday Season.
Until Next Time,
