What I am Loving at the Consignment Shop

February 29, 2016 By stylishrevamp 3 Comments

Last Thursday I stopped at a consignment shop that moved into our area a few months ago.  I am kicking myself for not stopping by sooner.  It is only two streets over from the gym.  Two streets and two seconds away!  I have been driving by it 5 days a week for months and didn’t realize it was there! Now that I know it is there, it could be trouble!

I have consigned with this shop before when it was in it’s previous location.  However, the new space is huge and the inventory is amazing.  So today I am going to show you what I am loving at the Consignment Shop.

Consignment shop favorites

There was so much to see at the shop and so many things that I fell in love with but  I needed to reel myself back in before going crazy.

One of the first things that caught my eye was this fabulous Farmhouse Table.

Farmhouse Table

I am thinking if it is still there when I go back, I just might have to buy it.  It is gorgeous.  I even like the bench  although it is not really a match for me.  The only thing holding me back from buying it is the fact that I have a lovely table at the Island Home. So if we do sell the house (still debating…not sure I am ready to say good-bye to it just yet) I would just bring that table home.  The problem is…I really like this table at the consignment shop, I think it is perfection.  Maybe, just maybe if it is still available it was meant for me.  That’s my logic and I am sticking with it!

The next consignment shop find I fell in love with is this chandelier.

I think this would look fabulous over my dining room table.  I need to check the measurements to make sure it will work but if it does this chandelier is coming home with me.  Like I said before, this shop is huge and I was beyond excited when I walked in there. So on my next trip I have a better idea of what to expect.

Another great piece I found, were these concrete garden planters.

These planters were extremely large.  He had several of them.  They were a bit pricey for me but I am going to keep my eye on them and I might pick them up once the price goes down for the final time.  I think they would look great out by our pool with a potted evergreen.

I have been on the hunt for a little corner cabinet for my office.  The price on this piece was amazing so I couldn’t pass on it.

White Corner Cabinet

I adore the details on this little piece.  The side trim matches the trim on our revamped IKEA Billy Bookcase that is already in my home office.  I need to sand down my new corner cabinet and then I will spray it a bright white. I am so excited to get this into my office.  I am just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit more.  Sunday was a beautiful day but I took the boys to the mall and that did me in, when we got home I crashed for about 3 hours.  I can shop at a thrift shop for hours and walk away invigorated.  Two hours at the Mall and I cannot function!

My final favorites, that I am going to share from the consignment shop are these beautiful wine rack storage pieces.

Since I do not have a wine storage room nor do I have a need for one, I didn’t buy these. But, I still love these pieces. I think they would look great as a decorative piece.  I would still store some wine in the racks and maybe hang a magnolia wreath from it as well as some other decorative items.  Hmmm, I may need to rework my dining room to fit one of these racks in the space!

So that is what I am loving at the consignment shop.  I hope you liked some of my favorites as well!

I am thinking, I need to stop by the consignment shop tomorrow after my workout!  I believe this will help me stay on track at the gym, complete my workout, treat myself at the consignment!  Yep, it’s a win-win!

Until Next Time,
